No swim center

There is no swim center any more just a huge empty building that I took swim lesson at 45 years ago. It was shut down during the pandemic and the city is using tax money for whatever they want. I would hope that it is being reinvested into public services and other community needs. I had hoped I would be able to enroll my son in swim classes at the same place I had them, but I was super disappointed when I went their after looking online to see if it was open again. I did not dig into it but I did fall for the prehistoric google map information. The water playground was awesome since it was built, but now one of the water systems has turned into a warning cone you would see on the street if you had to move around construction or maintenance. The city has dropped the ball as far as Mukilteo Blvd and the awesome property they own.

We love Forest Park! All of it! But especially the swim center. Admission is only $5 per person, and $4.25 for kids, seniors, and those w/special needs. Open swim times vary, but on the weekends it's usually 12-2 or 2-4:30pm. They also host classes and lessons. There are tons of pool toys and life-jackets for all! Pool noodles, kickboards, dumbbells, beach balls, you name it! And you can bring your own. There's a rope swing, diving boards, lap lanes, and pool basketball. For the adults there's a dry sauna and a hot tub. The windows in the sauna make it easy to keep an eye on the kids. And there are plenty of lifeguards on duty as well. There's a family charging room in the pool area. There are showers, swimsuit dryers and lockers that only cost a quarter in the men's & women's lockers rooms. Parking is free, easy and adequate - tho during peak times you may have to walk a bit. There are main and overflow lots surrounding Forest Park on 3 sides, so you can usually find a spot.

Large, beautiful park right outside downtown Everett. Loads of parking, both sunny and shady areas to picnic. A small petting zoo for the kids as well as lots of playground space and equipment. Also has a water park area. Something for both adults and kids and no admission charge.

This is a really nice place. Everything looks well taken care of and the lifeguards are nice, not a holes like most. They also have a hot tub and sauna which is nice. Its only like $4.50 to get in and they take cash and card. The locker rooms are nice and clean. The only thing I didn't like is they wouldn't let my dog come it but there's a cat that lives there. Either be pet friendly or not. Other than that I enjoyed it and will definitely be back.

This is one of the best parks around. It has almost everything for almost anyone. Regular park, water park, swim center, different banquet halls.
